BOOKING
When you make a booking it is your responsibility to ensure that any information (all names, date, timings, passport data) which you give us is accurate. It is important for us to be informed of any inaccuracies in any document immediately, as any wrong information may harm your rights. Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when GM Travel issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information. If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you are the designated contact person for every participant included in that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your tour booking, notifying GM Travel or your authorized agent for any changes or cancellations.
Prices
Published prices are based on costs at the time of publication. The company is under no obligation to furnish a breakdown of the costs involved in a holiday. The price of the tour(s) and any products or services offered by GM Travel is subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to impose surcharges on any products or services booked for reasons arising from increases in transportation costs, fuel costs, taxes, airport charges, local operator costs, currency and exchange rate fluctuation, or government action which impacts the price of the applicable tour or services. If the price changes after you received the confirmation and full payment have been paid, you may choose to either:
(a) accept the change of price
(b) cancel the booking without any charges
You must notify GM Travel of your choice prior to the start of the tour or within 7 days after you receive notification of the price change. Failing to reply to the price change notification within 7 days will be considered as acceptance of the price change and will be liable for payment increase.
Payment
For the services contracted, 20% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the full amount must be paid at least 20 days prior to your date of departure. If you book less than 20 days before departure, you must pay for the tour in full as soon as you book. If you do not pay your balance by the agreed time, the Company reserves the right to cancel your booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel your holiday at any time if you notify the Company in writing. Deposits are non-refundable.
The following charges will be issued on any cancellation:
. 30 days or more prior to departure – free of charge
. 15-20 days prior to departure – 50% of tour cost
. 7-14 days prior to departure – 70% of tour cost
. 7 days or fewer prior to departure – 100% of tour cost
Once the tour has started, no refund for any unused portion or part of the tour or services to be provided will be given. If you want to make any changes to the tour, or depart the tour early, such alteration or departure will be entirely at your own expense and liability.
Hotel accommodation
Accommodation during our tours will be provided based on double/twin rooms, in the hotels advertised on a specific itinerary (subject to availability) or with hotels of similar value/category. Any special requests such as type of room, bedding, room location, etc. are on a “request basis” only, and are confirmed only at the discretion of the hotels.
